About Bishspoke

I am Dominic Ackah-Amihere, a passionate hairstylist and wig creator.

I have been hairdressing for 17 years and creating bespoke wigs for 6 of those. My wigs are all hand crafted, tailored to each clients specifications and personally coloured and cut by myself.

Following my battle with Hodgekins Lymphoma, creating hair pieces became a huge passion of mine. I became determined to create affordable, bespoke hair pieces in the hope of restoring confidence in those battling illness or hair loss. I now wear a lace-front hairpiece permanently, so I understand the massive impact hair pieces can have.

I am based just outside of my hometown city of Hull. I own Urban-Qtr in Beverley, East Yorkshire and have proudly assembled a team of highly regarded hair stylists. I luckily get to travel the world with Bishspoke, creating and styling pieces for celebrities, RPG Showig, cancer and alopecia sufferers and more.
